NewYork-Presbyterian's Center for Community Health and Education (CCHE) operates seven school-based health centers serving 23 public schools in Harlem, Washington Heights/Inwood, and the Bronx (SBHCs).

These centers are part of the NewYork-Presbyterian Ambulatory Care Network.

The SBHCs are open year-round and provide students with on-site access to comprehensive clinical services, including integrated primary medical, preventive, dental, and mental health care and a diverse array of health education and health promotion services.

SBHC services are coordinated with the students’ parents, family physicians, and other community- based providers.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Social Worker School Based Health Program – Columbia Join a dynamic, interdisciplinary primary care team working with high school children in a school -based health center.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, short-term intervention, and mental health outreach and education universal interventions.

Requirements

• This is a Monday-Friday day working from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
• Criteria Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.

Preferred

• Criteria LCSW At least two years of experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy to high school- children
• Experience with diagnostic evaluations
• Experience working within interdisciplinary teams
• Bilingual in Spanish and experienced working with diverse adolescent populations

Pay

• $45.61-$61.08/Hourly It all begins with you.
