Responsibilities

• Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site procedures.
• You will interact professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.
• Full Time Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and delivery-related concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity and help deter theft or trespassing.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and unusual conditions through required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred

• Have loss prevention experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have X-ray screening experience, preferred.
