Responsibilities

• Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and respond to security-related concerns.
• Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon09:00 PM - 05:00 AMTue09:00 PM - 05:00 AMWed09:00 PM - 05:00 AMThur09:00 PM - 05:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed, and report suspicious activity, facility concerns, and security-related incidents to site leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
