Responsibilities

• As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns.
• Full Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:00 AM - 03:00 PMTue07:00 AM - 03:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThur07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers at an industrial manufacturing and distribution location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Perform armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production spaces, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
