Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families of a child or adult with developmental disabilities
• Gastronomy Tube (g-tube) Care and Feeding Take vital signs and administer medication
• Trach Care (very rarely, do not need to have experience in this) Check blood sugar and administer insulin injection
• Seizure Management – may need to give medication if ordered and ensure safety

Document on nursing notes every visit

• Be a support to clients and their family members
• Monitor and report changes in client care and/or behavior

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in home care Active CA.

LVN License CPR certification

• Physical within the last 6 months and recent TB test
• Current TB test, current physical, Valid CPR card and First Aide (within 30 days of hire)

Pay

• $35.00 hourly
• Posted Min Pay Rate USD $35.00/Hr.
• Posted Max Pay Rate USD $35.00/Hr.
