Licensed Practical Nurse - Hospice

City/State Suffolk, VA Work Shift Weekend Nights Overview: Sentara Hospice is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as an LPN.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a home health care setting is responsible for providing direct, one-on-one care to patients in their homes. This role involves monitoring patient health, administering treatments, managing medications, and offering essential support to patients with various medical needs. Collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals, including Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians, is required to deliver high-quality, compassionate care that improves patient well-being.

Requirements

• Sat & Sun, 5PM-8:30AM) Position Location: Suffolk, VA Education Trade School Graduate for Nursing (Required) Certification/Licensure LPN License in state of practice (VA) (Required) BLS (Required within 90 days)

Pay

• We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.
• The base pay range for full-time employment is $28.57 - $43.04 hourly.
• Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
• Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
