About Think Zone

Think Zone, part of TAL Education Group, helps K–8 students build strong math foundations through engaging, personalized instruction. We believe learning should be fun, challenging, and confidence-building—and our tutors play a huge role in making that happen.

Responsibilities

  • Tutor K–8 students through personalized one-on-one math instruction
  • Explain math concepts in ways students can easily understand
  • Encourage problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Build students' confidence and celebrate their progress
  • Create a positive, engaging learning environment
  • Track student progress using our curriculum and resources

Build positive relationships with students and families

  • No lesson planning required—we provide the curriculum, materials, and training.
  • Mentor newer tutors and take on additional leadership responsibilities.

Requirements

  • We're looking for friendly, dependable people who enjoy working with kids and want to make a positive impact.

Love encouraging and motivating younger students

  • Are currently in high school (16+) or college, or have a high school diploma
  • Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required. We'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
