The Role

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Junior Accountant supports the company’s day-to-day financial and administrative operations, with a focus on accurate, timely accounts payable processing. You’ll be a key point of contact for suppliers and internal teams, helping ensure every bill is paid correctly and on time.

You Will Have The Opportunity To

Process vendor bills and employee expenses, and resolve discrepancies

Respond to supplier calls and payment inquiries promptly

Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding items

Reconcile and process credit card statements and supporting receipts

Maintain and update the vendor master file

Partner with teams across the company to resolve AP inquiries

Support preparation for the year-end audit

Take on additional duties and ad hoc projects as needed

Who You Are

A college or university graduate in Accounting; 1-2 years of relevant experience is an asset

Proficient in Excel

Detail-oriented, with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Comfortable communicating with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels

Able to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure

Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment

Experience with Salesforce/Certinia is an asset
