Physiotherapy Assistant - 2 Lorry Greenberg Drive, Ottawa, ON, K1G 5H6 We are seeking a Full-time Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team! As a Physiotherapy Assistant at Lifemark, you are an important member of our clinical team. You are responsible for assisting with client care as directed by a Physiotherapist, and for the maintenance and cleanliness of the treatment area and equipment. As a significant contributor, you are the type of person who will take pride in the thoroughness of your work and the strong relationships you develop with your clients and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Strong focus on quality services and client care A culture of continuous learning
• Assisting physiotherapists with client care; including the use of ultrasound equipment, exercise programs etc.
• Administrative duties, as required
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
• Collecting outcome measure data
• Maintenance and cleaning/sterilization of medical equipment
• Inventory of clinical supplies

Requirements

PTA diploma or Kinesiology degree preferred

• Personal, friendly demeanor with excellent relationship-building skills
• We have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of our patients and employees with PPE provided, the spacing of patients, screening, and more.
• Extensive safety protocols and procedures have been put into place and are mandatory.

Preferred

• Previous experience working within a clinic setting
