Responsibilities

• Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service.
• You will communicate professionally with visitors and personnel, report observations, and contribute to a welcoming environment.
• Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and marina patrons by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of docks, waterfront areas, parking areas, buildings, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe vehicle, pedestrian, and vessel activity in accordance with established government-location procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document events as required.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
