Responsibilities

• As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening people and materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns.
• Part Time Pay Rate: $21.95 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri06:45 AM - 03:15 PMSat06:45 AM - 03:15 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or property entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct inspections of authorized items as required, reporting prohibited, suspicious, or irregular findings to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and document observations and actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entry points, loading areas, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Preferred

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
