Lead Rad Tech Weekend Package

Full time Shift: Weekend Shift Description: Join our Diagnostic Imaging team and play a key role in supporting the daily operations of a fast-paced department. This position is responsible for maintaining efficient departmental functions and performing essential business activities that contribute to high-quality, cost-effective medical imaging services.

Responsibilities

• What you will do: · Assumes responsibility, authority and accountability for the Diagnostic Imaging Department during their respective shift. · Develops and implements department objectives in collaboration with managers and staff. · Monitors performance of staff; helps managers with counseling as needed, helps managers conduct performance appraisals; promotes staff development. · Promotes staff compliance of objectives and the implementation of procedures and policies. · Assists managers in conducting interviews of prospective employees. · Monitors the physical environment of the department. · Manages and coordinates the activities of the Diagnostic Imaging Department with other areas of the department and hospital to insure and maintain patient care.

Requirements

Successful completion of an accredited two year

• Radiologic Technology program. · Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R) and maintains active registry status in ARRT · Maintains current
• Iowa Permit to Practice. · Participates in professional society (i.e., ISRT or SCD) · Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire. · Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire. · 24 CEU’s every 2 years · Two years’ experience as a radiologic technologist

Pay

Up to $10,000 Relocation available depending on location
