Requirements

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean commercial driver’s abstract
• Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift, stack, pull and carry heavy items (up to 80 lbs)
• Strong communication and customer service skills with English fluency
• Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature and road conditions

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be goal oriented with a positive, “can do” attitude
• This position requires punctuality and attention to detail Eligibility for bonding and transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• A high-level of integrity and a strong work ethic, able to work with little supervision and be self directed.
• Professional demeanor under stressful situations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Availability for weekends and statutory holidays Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities include correctly offloading product, recording of delivery information, accepting payment for goods when required, and ensuring operational vehicle safety in all aspects.

Preferred

• Previous professional driving experience is preferred

Pay

Starting rate of $35.94, with potential to go to a top rate of $41.97 per hour after completing 12 months
