🩺 Medical Assistant - Urgent Care Shoal Creek Join Our Team as a Medical Assistant at Saint Luke's Urgent Care Shoal Creek! We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our Urgent Care team at our Shoal Creek location . This role is essential in supporting providers and nursing staff while delivering exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent customer service, and the flexibility to work in an urgent care setting. 📅 The Shift The Urgent Care clinic is open: Monday through Friday: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Saturday and Sunday: 7:45 AM - 5:15 PM This is a full-time position with a schedule based on clinic operating hours. 🩺 Responsibilities Include: ✅ Assist providers and nursing staff in the delivery of professional medical care ✅ Perform pre-visit planning and prepare patients for examinations ✅ Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document information in the EMR ✅ Perform phlebotomy and assist with procedures as needed ✅ Scan and upload patient documentation into electronic medical records ✅ Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times ✅ Support front desk operations and patient registration when needed ✅ Assist with clinic workflow and other duties based on operational needs ✅ Travel to and support other Urgent Care locations throughout the Kansas City Metro as needed 👩‍⚕️ What We're Looking For: ✔ Experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinic, urgent care, or healthcare setting preferred ✔ Strong customer service and communication skills ✔ Phlebotomy experience preferred ✔ Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment ✔ Proficiency with electronic medical records and computer systems ✔ Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing excellent patient care 🌟 Why Saint Luke's? 💙 Work alongside experienced providers and healthcare professionals dedicated to exceptional patient care 💙 Gain valuable experience in a fast-paced Urgent Care environment 💙 Make a direct impact on patient outcomes and community health 💙 Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package 💙 Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement within Saint Luke's Health System
