Maintenance Mechanic - 1 - Maintenance Tech

As a maintenance technician, you would be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of industrial equipment, including shredding machines, granulators, and bucket elevators. This role requires a proactive approach to equipment maintenance, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and other machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on company's equipment.
• Inspect and repair manufacturing machines as required.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other team members to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Strong electrical knowledge and experience with industrial electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.

Preferred

• Proven experience as an Industrial technician, preferably in a recycling or manufacturing environment.
• Certifications or technical training in mechanics and electrical systems is a plus Education and Experience: Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus.
