General Production Aide - Helen Keller - Environmental Services - Full Time - Shift Varies

This position assists EVS team in maintaining a high quality standard of housekeeping service by performing daily cleaning/restocking patient rooms, nursing stations, restrooms, offices and other assigned areas in accordance with established procedures of the department and Helen Keller Hospital. Aides are expected to display a courteous, friendly and professional attitude toward our customers at all times.

Responsibilities

• Insures effective department operations by maintaining good attendance.
• Start your day correctly in accordance with department policy and procedure.
• Performs adequate share of workload as determined by EVS leadership.
• Meets the organization housekeeping needs as indicated by the average monthly overall room score target.
• End your day correctly in accordance with department policy and procedure.

Requirements

• Previous experience in health care or public lodging facility experience preferred Additional Skills/Abilities: Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form.
• Must be willing to work in a team structured environment.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work/manage a fast paced, stressful work environment.
• Must be able to attend work regularly and promptly.

Preferred

• HS/GED preferred.
