Join our team as a Scrap Crane Operator and play a key role in keeping yard operations running efficiently. In this position, you will be responsible for sorting scrap materials, loading trucks and balers, and operating E-crane or crawler crane equipment to ensure smooth material flow across the yard.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll Do Sort scrap materials by type and quality
  • Operate E-crane or crawler crane to load trucks, railcars, and balers
  • Move crane equipment throughout the yard as needed
  • Maintain material flow by cleaning out scrap spreads
  • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a team-focused environment
  • Support continuous improvement efforts across yard operations

  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Basic math, communication, and problem-solving skills Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support others Ability to follow and communicate instructions clearly Ability to meet physical requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation)
