Owns local carrier, and operational relationships related to product performance.
Strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with core carriers and GSAs, fostering collaboration, and driving performance improvements.
Requirements
Reports to Country Managing Director and Regional Product owner.
Fluency in local language and professional working proficiency in English, required to manage local commercial and operational stakeholders while coordinating with regional and global Air Freight teams.
Deep understanding of global carrier policies, industry regulations, and market trends, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Demonstrated negotiation skills in securing favorable rates and agreements with carriers, ensuring competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information and ideas to diverse audiences.
Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management, with a keen understanding of cost structures and profitability drivers in the Air Freight industry.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution oriented approach, adept at addressing challenges and finding creative solutions.
