Responsibilities

• Assists residents in preparing for and transporting to and from medical appointments, activities, and social programs.
• Checks residents' vital signs, measures weight and height, and records data as instructed; reports any variances to Charge Nurse.
• Answers resident call lights promptly to attend to needs; frequently checks those who are unable to call for help.
• Performs restorative and rehabilitative procedures, as instructed.
• Assists residents to walk with or without self-help devices, as instructed.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or combination of school and experience. Active CNA license in the state of Pennsylvania. Current CPR certification.
