Responsibilities

  • Full Time Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur09:30 PM - 06:00 AMFri09:30 PM - 06:00 AMSat09:30 PM - 06:00 AMSun09:30 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Assist with access control, visitor management, directions, and escorts as needed while maintaining a professional and compassionate presence.
  • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.

Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be able to restrain individuals as required.
  • Possess at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
