Provide comfort and caring as a certified nurse’s aide at NYP, keeping our fast-paced environments running smoothly. Provide compassionate patient focused care and perform select duties under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Bring your smile to work.
• Infuse energy and hospitality into a patient's day.
• Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment.
• Measure, monitor and record temperatures, pulses, respirations and blood pressures.
• Ensure the delivery of meals and safe transport.

Requirements

• This is a Part Time Evening position (3pm - 11pm; 18.12 hrs/wk; 5 shifts bi-weekly) at the NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens location.
• Previous Nurse’s Aide experience or equivalent in a hospital setting; or certification from an approved accredited
• Nurse Aide training program, or currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum • BLS from AHA • HS Diploma/GED • Must be able to complete mandatory 2 week orientation
• Monday - Friday from 8AM - 4PM upon hire.
• Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
