Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of food and services to patients and customers.
• Follows all cooking assignments maintaining a sanitary and safe working area at all times.
• Follows sanitation guidelines
• Follows recipes and preparation instructions
• Accurately and efficiently uses cooking equipment
• Knowledgeable of basic diet
• Properly portions all food and ingredients per department standards

Prepares food to accurate consistency per diet requirements

• Preps food items for current use and next day
• Follows production sheets and records all related HACCP documentation
• Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits
• Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct Required Qualifications : Education and Training : High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
• Sanitation Certificate required

Pay

The expected pay for this position is listed below: $16.66 - $19.99 The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
