Responsibilities

• You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe.
• Welcoming and assisting staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Conducting regular safety and security patrols.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures.
• Supporting emergency protocols, including evacuations and searches.
• Keeping vigilant, reporting incidents, and preventing disruption.
• Accurately maintaining records of all activity and handovers.
• Provide a visible security presence across the site
• Conduct regular foot patrols
• Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms
• Manage access control and visitor sign-in procedures
• Respond to incidents and emergencies professionally
• Complete accurate incident and shift reports

Assist employees, contractors, and visitors

• Ensure all health, safety, and security procedures are followed at all times

• As a Relief Security Officer , you will provide security services across a variety of sites within a designated geographical area as required.
• The Relief Security Officer will be responsible for protecting employees, property, and assets in line with Assignment Instructions and site-specific customer requirements, while delivering exceptional customer service.
• The Relief Security Officer will consistently demonstrate Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness and must hold a valid SIA licence before commencing operational duties.

Requirements

• We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow.
• What We're Looking For: Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
