Job Description We are looking to​ onboard​ an independent ​owner-operator to join our team in support of the Carrier's transportation needs and to service its customers. This Owner-Operator will be granted the option to operate under the Carrier's Nation Safety Code and Fleet Insurance Program.

We wish to partner with an independent incorporated business to provide a current model truck and qualified operator to provide local pick-up and delivery services within the service area of the Saskatoon Terminal.

Responsibilities

• The qualified operator is responsible for meeting all regulatory requirements, including Pre and post-trip inspections of equipment, and may include the delivery of periodic dock services to load and unload freight as required.
• Operate within the standards and requirements as outlined in the services contract.
• The Business must provide WCB Coverage to its Operators Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight within the Saskatoon service area, while adhering to company policies and procedures
• Efficiently and safely picking up and delivering LTL freight
• Responsible for loading/unloading freight
• Good understanding of the Hours of Service regulations Forklift ticket is an asset TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are an asset

Requirements

• Operator Qualifications Class One License 1 year of experience
• Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 references confirming the delivery of service excellence
• Mechanically Fit City Tractor & ELD Compatible Truck specifications that align with the Carrier's requirements

Pay

The Services Contract Includes the Following: Productivity-Based Incentive Fee for Service Rate Schedule Can generate a Big gross settlement opportunity for the right business partner.

Benefits

• The Services require business flexibility but are generally required over 5 days per week and may include some weekends.
