A welcoming family in Buffalo, NY 14221 is seeking a compassionate, reliable caregiver to provide part-time companion care and non-medical support for an older adult with dementia.

Schedule

Total Hours: 6 hours per week

Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Shift Length: 3 hours per day (flexible options for 12:00 PM–3:00 PM or 4:00 PM–7:00 PM)

Home Environment

5+ cats in the home

Responsibilities

Provide engaging companion care aligned with the care recipient's interests (reading, cooking, and pets)

Manage medication reminders

Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping and local errands

Provide light housekeeping and assist with home cleanliness and organization

Requirements

1 year or more of senior caregiving experience

Demonstrated experience managing dementia care

Demonstrated experience with home organization and cleanliness management

Pet-friendly and comfortable working around multiple cats

Reliable transportation for running errands and grocery shopping

Compensation

$18-$20 per hour (commensurate with experience)
