Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm OR Sunday-Thursday, 3rd Shift: 11pm -7:30am
Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating machinery, performing inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and assisting with rework when needed. The role requires adherence to detailed work instructions (DWI), maintaining a clean work environment, and collaborating with supervisors and co-workers to meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machines according to Detailed Work Instructions (DWI) and production schedules.
Inspect and process parts as instructed to maintain quality standards.
Complete Operator Production Sheet (Form FPR-01) accurately.
Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on machines as needed.
Assist in reworking and repacking parts under supervisor guidance.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including break rooms, restrooms, parking areas, and grounds.
Honor scheduled break times, including travel time to and from presses.
Maintain professional working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and management.
Assist in giving breaks to other operators as instructed.
Meet daily production quotas and adhere to all OJT/DWI instructions for all parts.
Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to stand for at least 8 hours per shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
