Account Manager (Post-Sales & Account Development - Retail & CPG)

Arkham Technologies · Mexico City, Mexico (Hybrid) · Full-time · Posted 2026-10-30

Arkham is a Data & AI Platform that helps large enterprises turn fragmented operations into trusted data and AI that moves the business: we unify fragmented systems, build a single source of trusted operational metrics, and solve complex challenges with AI tailored to each operation (sell-out forecasting, pricing and promo analysis, replenishment, automated order assignment). Teams at Circle K and Kimberly-Clark partner with Arkham to deploy AI-powered solutions.

As an Account Manager, you make sure the customer gets the outcome they bought, and you turn that outcome into renewal and expansion.

Responsibilities

  • you understand the customer’s operation, commercial side and P&L, translate what the platform does into measurable impact, and grow the account into new areas, business units, countries and use cases.
  • While the Growth team closes the deal, you own everything that comes after it: the relationship, the results, and the retained and expanded ARR.
  • You report to the Head of Account and work with Forward Deployed Engineers, Growth Managers and Sales Engineers.
  • Take the deal handoff and build the account success plan: business objectives, impact metrics, milestones and owners on both sides.
  • Run the relationship: weekly operational cadence with users, monthly with leadership, and QBRs with the executive sponsor.
  • Drive adoption and outcomes: make the platform part of daily operations (replenishment, forecasting, control tower), and measure and report impact in P&L terms.
  • Spot and resolve risks early (data, adoption, sponsor changes, competition, budget) and escalate on time.
  • Point the technical team (FDE) at what the customer needs, without promising what can’t be delivered.
  • Grow the account: find whitespace, build the expansion business case and take it to close with the Growth Manager.
  • Lead renewals: prepare the evidence of value, negotiate terms and secure continuity.
  • Manage platform consumption (ATUs), billing and contract compliance.
  • Document success stories and references the Growth team can use to sell.
  • How we measure success: Net Revenue Retention · platform adoption per account · business impact validated by the customer · account health score, with risks caught early · success stories and references generated.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years managing and growing enterprise accounts in Account Management, Customer Success, Key Account Management, implementation consulting or Client Partner roles.
  • Retail or CPG experience, either at the company or serving it, with a solid grasp of commercial, operations and supply chain.
  • Sales sense: you spot opportunities, build a business case and bring an expansion or renewal to signature.
  • A consultant’s approach: you structure problems, prioritize, and communicate clearly with both operations and leadership.
  • Comfortable with data and technology: you read dashboards, understand a forecasting model at a conceptual level and can hold a basic technical conversation. No coding required.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management: you deliver what you promise and keep everyone aligned.
  • Professional English.
  • Based in Mexico City or Monterrey, with availability to travel to customers.
  • Nice to have: experience with SaaS or data platforms; experience managing technology implementations in Retail or CPG.
  • This role is not for: a project manager who reports progress without understanding the business, a reactive customer success rep who waits for tickets, or a seller who wants to close and move on.
