Dental Assistant

Northern Virginia Oral Maxillofacial Surgery Associates is looking for a Dental Assistant in Manassas, Virginia to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Competitive hourly pay $23Min-$26Max Part time: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday Support for continuing education and professional development Modern office with advanced dental technology Responsibilities Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed) Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Requirements

• Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program - Preferred 1 year on-the-job-experience X-Ray certification - Required High school diploma or equivalent Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
