Rotating Shift Description: Part Time - Mixed Shifts - Glen at Hiland Meadows - Queensbury, NY The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and courteous transportation of residents to appointments, activities, and other community destinations. This position plays a vital role in ensuring residents arrive safely while providing exceptional customer service and support.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents safely to and from appointments, activities, and community events.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices to ensure safe transportation.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles as needed.
• Perform routine vehicle safety inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety standards, and organizational policies.
• Provide respectful and professional service to residents, families, and staff.
• CDL Class C with passenger endorsement required.

Requirements

• Requirements High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid New York State Driver's License.
• Minimum one year of experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs, preferably older adults.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Pay

• $18.50 - $24.55 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
• Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
• The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
