Nursing Assistant (NA) Location: Golden Valley, MN Schedule: 12 Hour Shifts, Fulltime Days and Nights Compensation: $22.20 - $26.00 / Hour based on years of experience

Regency Hospital - Minneapolis is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair

Participate in hourly rounds

  • Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
  • Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
  • Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
  • Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum Qualifications High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years) BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred

  • Qualifications Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
