Data Analyst - Procurement (m/f/d)

In this role, you will take ownership of the technical foundation behind our Procurement reporting and performance analytics. You will work with large datasets, develop automated data pipelines and reporting solutions, and ensure that our Procurement teams have access to accurate, consistent and meaningful information.

• To support this ambition, we are looking for a technically strong Data Analyst - Procurement who enjoys turning complex data into reliable, scalable and actionable analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and continuously improve interactive Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to monitor Procurement performance across our European markets.
• Develop scalable data models, automate recurring reporting processes and reduce manual, Excel-based workflows.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, improve data quality and establish reliable, standardized KPI definitions and reporting structures.
• Build analytical solutions covering key Procurement KPIs such as supplier bonuses, purchasing conditions, payment terms, purchasing volumes, direct supply share and supplier profitability.
• Develop analytical solutions to monitor supplier performance, identify deviations and support bonus forecasting, profitability analyses and commercial decision-making.
• Partner with Strategic Procurement, Data/BI and Finance/Controlling to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve our data infrastructure, reporting capabilities and analytical processes, leveraging modern technologies and automation.

Requirements

• A degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics or a comparable field.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Power BI , including data modeling, data transformation and dashboard development.
• Experience with dbt or comparable data transformation frameworks; knowledge of Databricks or similar modern data platforms is a plus.
• Solid understanding of data structures, ETL/ELT processes, data quality and reporting architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently with complex datasets.
• Experience in developing automated and scalable reporting solutions, ideally in a commercial, retail, e-commerce or Procurement environment.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into reliable technical solutions.
• A proactive, structured and detail-oriented working style, combined with curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Very good English communication skills; German is an advantage.
