Now Hiring: Senior Master Production Scheduler & Super User
We are seeking an experienced Senior Master Production Scheduler & Super User to play a key role in production planning, scheduling optimization, and supply chain execution within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
This senior-level individual contributor position combines advanced production scheduling expertise with technical leadership in SAP S/4HANA, Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), and Integrated Business Planning (IBP). The successful candidate will translate high-level supply plans into detailed, executable production schedules while balancing capacity constraints, material availability, inventory objectives, and operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed production schedules using SAP S/4HANA and PP/DS, ensuring alignment with manufacturing capabilities, production priorities, and customer service requirements.
Leverage finite-capacity scheduling, sequencing optimization, and constraint-based planning to improve production efficiency and schedule reliability.
Monitor and resolve planning exceptions, material shortages, capacity conflicts, and complex scheduling challenges.
Serve as the site-level subject matter expert for SAP S/4HANA PP, PP/DS, and IBP integration, supporting system functionality, data integrity, and planning process optimization.
Maintain and improve production planning master data, capacity models, routing information, production schedules, and stock transfer processes.
Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, IT, Global Supply Chain Planning, and other cross-functional teams to ensure effective plan execution.
Collaborate with IT and the Center of Excellence to troubleshoot system issues, validate enhancements, and support system testing and implementation.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions, and scheduling best practices.
Train and mentor schedulers and production coordinators while promoting knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and standardized planning processes.
Support Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) through capacity assessments, production constraint analysis, and execution performance insights.
Qualifications:
8+ years of production planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment.
5+ years of hands-on SAP experience, including SAP S/4HANA PP; PP/DS experience is highly preferred.
Demonstrated experience as an SAP Super User or subject matter expert in production planning systems.
Knowledge of IBP integration, material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning, lot sizing, lead times, and production sequencing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Experience training or mentoring other planning professionals.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing environments is strongly preferred; APICS CPIM certification is a plus.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned production planning professional to apply technical expertise, influence site-level scheduling strategy, strengthen planning processes, and drive operational excellence across manufacturing and global supply chain operations.
