As a Materials Planner in our Personal Care division, you will help ensure the right materials are available to support production across our European operations. This is a hands-on planning role in a dynamic manufacturing environment where priorities can change quickly.

Responsibilities

• You will combine planning and data analysis with regular supplier interaction, anticipate potential supply risks and take action when shortages, delivery changes or other exceptions arise.
• Execute and monitor material plans to ensure raw materials are available when required for production.
• Build effective day-to-day relationships with suppliers, follow service performance and proactively address potential delivery or supply risks.
• Share forecasts and relevant planning information with suppliers and translate changing requirements into appropriate supply actions.
• Create and follow up on purchase orders and supplier call-offs, adjusting priorities when production requirements change.
• Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages or excess inventory, balancing material availability with inventory objectives.
• Respond to shortages, delivery deviations and planning exceptions, assess potential impact and coordinate timely solutions with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate planning and procurement master data and contribute to improvements that make day-to-day planning more effective.

Requirements

• Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in material, supply or production planning, ideally within a manufacturing or similarly dynamic supply-chain environment.
• Comfortable working with SAP or similar planning systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, to support planning decisions.
• You combine analytical thinking with clear communication and collaboration skills.
• You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
