Rehab Aide

Rehab Aide Location: 6678 US HIghway 6, Portage, IN 46368 Type of Employment: Part Time Schedule: Weekdays, Monday through Friday Compensation: $12.50 - $13.00/based on experience Are you passionate about helping patients on their rehabilitation journey? Do you enjoy working in an outpatient physical therapy setting? Come join our team as a rehab aide! In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations.

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.) Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment

Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a pre-health profession (biology, rehabilitation sciences, exercise science, etc.) CPR certification
• First aid certification

Preferred

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
