Onsite Support Engineer (Ghent)

We are currently looking for an Onsite Support Engineer to provide hands-on IT support in a dynamic client environment in Ghent, Belgium.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second level onsite IT support for hardware, software, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and service requests
  • Support user onboarding, equipment setup, and standard workplace technologies
  • Document activities and resolutions in the ticketing system
  • Work closely with internal IT teams and stakeholders
  • Take ownership of issues and support changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide professional and customer-focused support to end users
  • Contribute to continuous service improvement

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or Onsite Support
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows environments and standard workplace technologies
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar

Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues
  • Genuine interest in developing within an onsite IT support role
  • Fluent English required; Dutch, Flemish, or French is a strong advantage
  • Flexibility to occasionally support outside standard working hours if needed
  • Experience in regulated environments such as GxP is a plus
  • Ability to provide a clean criminal record extract (not older than 3 months)
