Responsibilities

• Exciting opportunity to join Endeavor Health Immediate Care!
• Under the direction of collaborating physicians, provides care to patients.
• Obtains detailed history and performs physical examinations, orders imaging, lab tests and diagnostic procedures and interprets results.
• Instructs patients on the prescribed therapeutic regimen.
• Maintains records and writes progress notes on status, treatments, and procedures.
• Follows patients through their course of treatment in the immediate care.
• Collaborates with physicians and the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as appropriate.
• Demonstrates evidence-based practice.
• Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of practice in the specialty.
• Assesses the learning needs of patients and families across the continuum.
• Employs strategies, interventions and teaching to promote, maintain, and improve health.
• Works autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams.
• Positively contributes to safety outcomes and promotes high quality patient experiences.
• Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of service line goals.
• Supports the strategic plan of the organization.
• Adheres to all Endeavor Health policies and procedures.

Requirements

• License: Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in the State of IL required; Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
• Completion of Master’s level program in specialty area (MSN/MS or NCCPA certified PA) FNP certification required for APRNs Certification: BLS/CPR for Healthcare Provider certification required (in-person skills validation a must) Experience : Minimum 2 years
• Emergency Department or IC experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse or PA required to be considered for the position.

Pay

$65.00 - $75.00 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) – Immediate Care Locations: 49 S. Waukegan Rd, Deerfield & 9977 Woods Dr, Skokie Part Time: 36 hours per week Hours: Monday - Friday between 8:00AM and 8:00PM. Weekend/Holiday rotation between 8:00AM and 4:00PM.
