RN Apprentice Nurse, Marshall Medical Centers South, OB/GYN, Part-Time, Days

The Apprentice Nursing Student works under a supervising licensed nurse serving in the role of mentor. The responsibilities of the Apprentice Nursing Student include providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• The Apprentice Nursing Student must exhibit the ability to work with people form diverse socio-economic backgrounds; to organize, set priorities and manage multiple priorities, and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED Candidates must meet the following criteria: Enrolled in a board approved nursing education program
• Actively engaged in a registered apprenticeship
• Has obtained a student nurse apprentice permit issued form the Alabama board of nursing Licensure/Certification: BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
