Responsibilities

• The Bartender assures each guest is greeted promptly, courteously, and graciously with eye contact, and a smile.
• The Bartender provides hotel guests and servers with a quick and efficient beverage service following Four Seasons service standards.
• The Bartender has a complete knowledge of all products served at the bar and ensure that all guests receive the highest level of service.
• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests.
• Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience as Bartender.
• Strong beverage knowledge regarding beer, wine and liquor is required.
• Excellent communication and organization skills; reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
• Knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work all types of shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Working knowledge of the Micros system is essential.
• Basic wine knowledge preferred.
• Degree & Diploma in the Hotel Management.
