Technician 3 - Operations and Maintenance (Solar)

The company partners with leading capital providers to optimize clean energy assets at scale, supporting the growth of distributed renewable energy while delivering reliable performance and exceptional customer experience THE TECHNICIAN 3 POSITION SunStrong is searching for a technician 3 to be responsible for solar diagnostics, troubleshooting, and leading field crews on service work. TECHNICIAN 3 RESPONSIBILITIES Diagnose and resolve solar system issues: Inverter failures

Driving required physical requirements Extended period outdoors.

Responsibilities

• SunStrong provides end-to-end services including operations and maintenance, customer billing and support, asset performance management, and investor reporting.
• System underperformance Complex troubleshooting
• Lead crews on service jobs
• Direct and support Tech 1 and Tech 2 team members
• Crew Lead for solar service work
• Roof and electrical competent
• Solar diagnostics and repair expert
• Outside roof work required

Requirements

• Ensure high-quality work and first-pass resolution MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 2+ years of solar experience
• Proven troubleshooting capability
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Valid driver’s license (subject to driver record check)
• Authorized for battery (ESS) work . woRKING conditions
