Senior Software Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure)

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for owning the cloud infrastructure and developer platform used by engineers to build, test, and run various operations. You will design secure and compliant AWS environments, maintain infrastructure as code, build self-hosted developer tools, and optimize CI/CD and hardware-in-the-loop testing. You will work closely with software developers, radar engineers, test engineers, and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Conception, design, and implementation of secure and compliant AWS environments, including infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Management of cloud security and compliance for regulated environments, including access controls, encryption, audit logging, and continuous monitoring.
• Collaboration with software developers, radar engineers, test engineers, and business operations to optimize CI/CD pipelines and developer experience.
• Deep AWS experience across multi-account environments, including IAM, VPC networking, and container and compute services

Requirements

• Backend software development proficiency: experience building APIs, databases, or other production services
• Strong networking fundamentals (routing, DNS, VPNs) and the ability to debug connectivity problems end to end
• Experience building and speeding up CI/CD pipelines and container builds
• 5+ years building and operating production cloud infrastructure as a software engineer or platform engineer

Hands-on Terraform experience (or equivalent infrastructure-as-code)

• To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
• Backend or full stack software engineer experience, especially at an early-stage robotics, autonomy, or aerospace company
• Active U.S. security clearance, or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience optimizing the developer experience: building observability platforms, handling complex build environments, managing container registries and package managers
• Previous experience building infrastructure for agentic workloads and self-hosted AI tools

Preferred

• Comfort in regulated or export-controlled environments (especially ITAR, FedRAMP, CMMC)
