Senior Software Engineer

Autonex Tech Effectiveness (ATE), a team within Core Tech focused on improving engineering efficiency and resource utilization. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build AI agents, integrations, and internal products that turn data into actionable insights.

We’re looking for a strong software engineer who is excited about agentic AI and cares about how engineering organizations work

A strong interest in AI and a habit of experimenting, learning, and shipping. Modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex are part of your day-to-day work, and you take responsibility for the result

Responsibilities

• You will work closely with engineers, engineering leaders, and Finance to understand real problems, ship solutions, and measure their impact.
• Your responsibilities will include building and evolving AI products, designing workflows, connecting engineering and financial data, and improving delivery visibility.
• Concevoir et développer des agents d'IA, des intégrations et des produits internes qui transforment les données en décisions et actions utiles.
• Construire et faire évoluer des produits d'IA tels que Nex et Fyn, leurs outils d'accompagnement et des analyses en libre-service pour l'efficacité de l'ingénierie et FinOps.
• Connecter les données d'ingénierie et financières via des API et des pipelines de données fiables, en intégrant des outils tels que Slack, Jira, notre portail développeur, et les fournisseurs de cloud et d'IA.

Requirements

• You should have a strong interest in AI, hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications, and senior-level software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications and agentic systems used in real workflows. You can explain the design decisions, failure modes, and trade-offs behind what you’ve built
• Clear communication, product thinking, and ownership. You can turn an ambiguous problem into a practical solution and work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong coding skills in at least one language, ideally Python or TypeScript, and confidence working with APIs, data integrations, and distributed systems
• An interest in engineering effectiveness: developer experience, delivery flow, automation, and responsible use of resources. You want to understand whether a tool improves someone’s work and how to measure that
• Senior-level software engineering experience, typically 5+ years, building and operating production applications or services, with strong skills in design, testing, debugging, and maintainable code
• Practical experience deploying and running software in AWS or a comparable cloud, including CI/CD and observability. You can make sensible choices about reliability, security, and operating cost

Preferred

• FinOps, cloud cost optimization, engineering analytics, developer experience, or engineering operations. Curiosity and willingness to learn these domains matter too
• Agent frameworks, MCP integrations, Amazon Bedrock, or AgentCore. Our current agents use the Strands Agents SDK; experience with other stacks is welcome
• Building internal tools, dashboards, or data products that people use to make decisions, and using metrics carefully in their context
