Senior IT Operations Manager

Join HOLY as a Senior IT Operations Manager and take ownership of our IT operations from end to end. You will build a secure and scalable foundation for our continued growth, turning today's setup into a resilient and auditable IT function. This role combines hands-on delivery with strategic planning, working closely with various departments and leadership. You will be responsible for security and compliance, device and endpoint management, identity and access, IT support and infrastructure, SaaS, data and vendors, and IT strategy and scalability. This is an opportunity to shape IT at HOLY from the ground up.

• Own HOLY’s IT operations end to end, building a secure and scalable foundation for growth.
• Lead the security and compliance roadmap, ensuring critical controls are documented, implemented, and tested.
• Govern HOLY’s SaaS portfolio, file storage, NAS, backups, and relevant HR and payroll infrastructure.

• Clear, trusted communicator: You explain risk, cost, and technical trade-offs in plain language and adapt your communication to founders, leaders, and cross-functional partners
• Strong vendor and commercial ownership: Proven ability to manage service providers, negotiate SLAs and contracts, rationalise the SaaS stack, and own renewal cycles while maintaining operational continuity
• Builder with high ownership: You thrive where processes are still being created, take accountability without waiting for a playbook, and document your work so the function does not depend on one person
• Strategic systems thinker: You translate company growth into practical infrastructure decisions, scalable processes, and well-reasoned investment cases
• Security and compliance expertise: Understanding of endpoint security, incident response, data protection, and audit readiness. Experience with NIS2, GDPR, or comparable regulatory requirements is highly valuable
• Experienced IT operator: You have built or significantly improved IT operations in a fast-growing company and are comfortable owning both daily delivery and long-term direction
• Hands-on MDM capability: You can independently operate and optimise Jamf or an equivalent enterprise MDM platform. Experience with Intune and mixed-device environments is a strong advantage
