Senior Product Manager (Core Platform Infrastructure)

Join SAP Dremio as a Senior Product Manager for Cloud Platform Infrastructure. You will own the strategy and roadmap for foundational systems that power SAP Dremio Cloud services. Your vision is to make SAP Dremio a platform that enterprises trust completely, with a focus on performance, management, and infrastructure. You will define and drive the vision for regional infrastructure and expansion, lead internal infrastructure observability and reliability strategy, and collaborate closely with various teams to ensure platform capabilities are operable, secure, and commercially aligned.

Own the strategy and roadmap for foundational systems that power SAP Dremio Cloud services, ensuring high availability, continuous optimization, and effortless operation.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the vision for regional infrastructure and expansion, making SAP Dremio available, performant, and cost-efficient wherever customers need it.
• Lead internal infrastructure observability and reliability strategy, defining the metrics, logs, traces, SLOs, and alerting that surface meaningful health signals.
• Thrives in a hyper-growth environment where priorities evolve and ownership is essential
• Strong ownership mindset with high accountability and a bias toward action
• Experience using telemetry and reliability metrics to inform product decisions

Requirements

• This role requires strong technical depth, independent judgment, and the ability to engage credibly in technical discussions across engineering, cloud operations, and security — driving alignment and outcomes without needing to own the architecture itself
• Technically confident with strong structured thinking and sound decision-making ability
• Clear and concise communicator capable of bridging technical and business audiences
• Ability to independently engage in technical conversations and influence senior engineering stakeholders
• General understanding of enterprise identity, access management, and governance models
• Experience working closely with engineering teams on highly technical initiatives
• Hands-on experience building or scaling a control and data plane services, with a strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, networking models, and distributed systems
• 5–8+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or distributed systems environments

Self-motivated and proactive, comfortable operating in ambiguity

• Experience with global or multi-region cloud and distributed system deployments
• Background in distributed systems, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps
• Familiarity with Kubernetes-based systems
• Exposure to sovereign or private cloud deployment models
• Comfortable using AI tools for prototyping, rapid iteration, and accelerated product delivery

• Familiarity with enterprise security, governance, and compliance frameworks
