Roblox as a Software Engineer in the Test Frameworks & Tooling team. You will design, build, and scale tools and services that power the test automation lifecycle of Roblox services. Your responsibilities will include building and scaling test automation infrastructure, advancing the AI-native test lifecycle, developing test orchestration and intelligence, improving test reliability and debugging, shifting quality earlier in the development lifecycle, driving projects end to end, and collaborating across engineering.

Requirements

  • You should have at least 1 year of experience building large-scale backend or infrastructure systems, be proficient in one or more programming languages, and have a strong teamwork mindset.

  • 1+ years of experience building large-scale backend or infrastructure systems. An understanding of building systems that operate at high QPS with low-latency requirements is a plus. Experience working on infrastructure or performance-critical backend systems is a plus
  • Curiosity: You are curious and passionate about solving open-ended problems. You can identify challenges, develop a deep understanding of the systems involved, and drive solutions in collaboration with your team

  • Knowledge: You are proficient in one or more programming languages (C#, Go, Python or similar programming language)
  • Strong Teamwork: You are able to collaborate in cross-functional and cross team projects to deliver the most curated technical solution
