Senior Site Reliability Engineer (12 month secondment)

Join OVO, a company on a mission to solve the climate crisis. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency of OVO's systems. You will work closely with engineering, QA, security, and product teams to embed reliability practices and support collective learning and growth. This is a full-time, 12-month secondment position with a salary banding of £58,000 - £75,000.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and automate monitoring systems, ensuring they deliver meaningful insights and effective alerting.
• Define and track SLOs and SLIs for key services, contributing to better reliability insights, and help refine incident response processes.
• Play a key role in resolving complex production incidents, leading or supporting technical response efforts, and conduct blameless post-mortems.
