Join Waymo as a Staff Technical Program Manager for the Partner Trip Platform. In this role, you will lead cross-functional technical programs to integrate Waymo's autonomous service with third-party platforms. You will own the technical delivery of external integrations end-to-end, drive technical trade-off decisions, and proactively identify and mitigate risks. You will also build scalable frameworks and processes for onboarding and operating partner integrations. This position offers a hybrid work model, competitive compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package.
- Lead cross-functional technical programs to integrate Waymo's autonomous service with third-party platforms, ensuring successful delivery from planning to execution.
- Serve as the primary execution counterpart for external teams, translating ambiguous work into clearly defined deliverables, owners, and schedules.
- Proactively identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks and dependencies across multiple concurrent partner programs, representing them to executive leadership.
- A track record of shipping consumer-facing software products and features, with demonstrated ownership of the execution from kickoff through launch and post-launch operations
- Experience running programs where critical dependencies sit with teams outside your direct influence, and a track record of getting them to deliver
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to align diverse internal teams and external partners and influence executive stakeholders
- 7+ years of experience leading highly complex, cross-functional technical programs with a holistic understanding of business-wide functions (e.g. Product, Engineering, Business Development, Operations)
- Deep care for the end user, with the ability to keep rider experience and quality at the center of technically complex, multi-party programs
- Strong technical depth: you can read a system design, hold your own in architecture and API discussions with engineers, and tease out the scope, schedule, and risk implications of each option to drive the decision
- Experience with external-facing integrations, platform APIs, or B2B2C products where another company's engineering team was a critical dependency
- Experience in rideshare, mobility, delivery, two-sided marketplaces, or other products where software coordinates physical operations in real time
- Experience launching products or integrations in multiple geographies, including navigating localization, payments, and regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with defining quality gates, testing plans, SLAs, and launch readiness processes for systems shared with external teams
