Responsibilities

• The Senior Data Scientist works closely with local and global teams to develop and deploy AI, machine learning, and data science solutions for customer and internal projects.
• The role is responsible for translating business requirements into scalable analytical solutions, designing and implementing machine learning and generative AI models, analyzing complex datasets, and delivering actionable insights.
• The position collaborates with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive successful solution integration, ensure high-quality project delivery, and promote innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement across the organization.
• What your new challenge will look like · Own and deliver defined workstreams within Data Science and AI projects, driving measurable business outcomes and enhancing product capabilities. · Design, develop, and optimize algorithms, heuristics, machine learning models, and AI solutions to address complex real-world challenges. · Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable analytical and technical solutions. · Effectively communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to stakeholders and project teams. · Support the integration and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions into products and operational environments. · Collect, process, and analyze large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights and enable data-driven decision-making. · Develop and implement machine learning, advanced analytics, and Generative AI solutions across customer and internal initiatives. · Prototype, evaluate, deploy, and monitor AI models in production environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and continuous improvement. · Create and deliver clear visualizations, dashboards, reports, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences. · Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to improve methodologies, processes, tools, and AI capabilities beyond project requirements. · Promote and contribute to data science best practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. · Support team success through knowledge sharing, collaboration, mentoring, and maintaining high standards of project delivery.

Job description

Why you belong at 4flow · Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline. · 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), or Digital Supply Chain Consulting. · Strong proficiency in Python and commonly used data science, machine learning, and Generative AI frameworks and libraries. · Proven experience delivering data-driven solutions and contributing to supply chain optimization and transformation initiatives. · Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across business, analytics, and technology functions. · Experience working with European customers and stakeholders in international project environments. · Strong ownership mindset with accountability for workstreams, deliverables, and project outcomes. · Proactive, self-driven, and independent approach to problem-solving and execution. · Excellent analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills. · Adaptable, flexible, and resilient in dynamic and fast-paced environments. · Strong customer focus with the ability to understand and address business needs effectively. · Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. · Collaborative team player who actively shares knowledge, supports colleagues, and contributes to team success. · Strong commitment to organizational success, with a genuine enthusiasm for contributing to company culture, values, and continuous improvement initiatives.
