Infrastructure Software Engineer (Apps Platform)

Join our team as an Infrastructure Software Engineer on the Apps Platform Infrastructure team. In this role, you will help build and evolve our platform's deployment and observability layers across multiple cloud providers and on-premises environments. You will work closely with internal teams to understand their needs, debug issues, and shape a roadmap that balances immediate needs with long-term architecture. You will also respond to incidents and production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes. This is a fast-paced, cross-functional role that requires a deep understanding of infrastructure design, networking engineering, and software delivery principles.

• Contribuir al desarrollo y evolución de las capas de implementación y observabilidad de la plataforma en múltiples proveedores de nube y entornos locales.
• Colaborar estrechamente con equipos internos para comprender cómo utilizan y despliegan la plataforma, depurar sus problemas y dar forma a una hoja de ruta que equilibre las necesidades inmediatas con la arquitectura a largo plazo.
• Expandir la huella de implementación de la plataforma para cubrir tanto las instalaciones locales como todas las principales plataformas de nube.

• Comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to context-switch between reactive incident work and proactive product development
• 5+ years of experience building and deploying enterprise and public sector solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI and on-premises
• Experience with GitOps-style deployments and a track record of ensuring consistent, repeatable deployments
• Deep proficiency with IaC, containerisation and orchestration tools and technologies (Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker)
• Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software delivery principles using GitHub Actions or CircleCI
• Deep expertise in infrastructure design, networking engineering, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to navigate performance/security tradeoffs in production systems
• Experience as a founder or early engineer at an infrastructure-focused startup, owning a product end-to-end
• Experience running secure workloads in multi-tenant or untrusted environments (e.g., FaaS, CI sandboxes, remote notebooks)
• Open-source contributions to systems or developer-tools projects
• History of on-call/incident response for production systems
