DevOps Engineer

Join Octopus Money, a mission-driven financial services company, as a DevOps Engineer. In this hands-on role, you will own and evolve the AWS platform that powers our customer-facing products. You will work closely with product engineers, ensuring the safe onboarding of new services onto the platform. Your responsibilities will include designing and maintaining reusable Terraform modules, managing the change pipeline, improving security tooling, and building observability. You will also support developer productivity, manage third-party integrations, investigate drift and incidents, and keep documentation current.

• Design, build and maintain reusable Terraform modules for AWS services and wire them into per-tenant Terramate stacks.
• Onboard new backend services onto the ECS platform, including task roles, load balancers, DNS, autoscaling, observability, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Own the change pipeline, including PR-based Terraform plans in GitHub Actions, Terramate runs per project and environment, and controlled applies to staging and production.
