This role involves cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, and distributing surgical instruments and medical equipment for use in patient care.

Responsibilities

• The Sterile Processing Technician ensures instruments and supplies are properly processed and maintained according to infection prevention, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required in the field.
• 1 year of Epic charting experience preferred.
• Flu Vaccine Required – No Exemptions.
• Acute Hospital OR, Preparation and Handling, Sterilization, Decontamination and Disinfection, Scope/Probe Processing, Sets/trays assembly Travel Experience required.
• Float required.

Preferred

• BLS, CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA .
• Community Hospital Experience Preferred but not required.

Schedule

Shift: Monday through Friday 9:45pm-6:15am. Call required – Every 4th weekend or may change based on need; Call 7am Saturday through 11pm Sunday and holiday rotation. Float – Required if needed. Apply Today!
